Garage door off track
A car bumped it, a roller broke or a cable let go, and now the rollers are out of the track. Don't run the opener and don't force it back: a door off track can fall.
- On site: 1 to 2 hours

Signs this is your problem
- Rollers are visibly outside the track.
- The door leans or tilts in the opening.
- The track is bent after the car touched it.
- The door stopped with a loud scrape.
What we do
We clamp the door so it can't move, take the tension off, lift the door back into the track and find out why it came out. A bent track gets straightened if it can be, replaced if it can't. Cracked rollers get replaced, and the door is tested through its full travel.
Why the time varies
A door that just slipped out is a short job. A door with a bent track, a broken roller and a loose cable is a long one. We tell you which one you have before any work starts.
Questions about door off track
One to two hours. A door that just slipped out is quick; a bent track that has to be replaced takes longer.
Not while the door is under spring tension. It can shift suddenly. Keep people and cars away and call.
Door stuck right now?
Call or text and a person in Estero answers. We'll tell you if it's safe to touch, when we can be there and how long the fix usually takes, before anyone drives over.
